Grattan
Woodson, M.D., FACP has been Board Certified in Internal Medicine
by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 1983. He is also
a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, which is indicated
by the designation FACP after his MD degree. Dr. Woodson graduated
from Oglethorpe University (summa cum laude) in 1976 and attended
the Medical College of Georgia from 1976-80. He did his Internal Medicine
residency at Mary I. Bassett Hospital, an affiliate of Columbia University
College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. Dr. Woodson practiced
and taught Internal Medicine on the full-time faculty of Emory University
School of Medicine in the Department of Medicine from 1983 until 1986
when he entered private medical practice in Decatur, Georgia. Currently
he is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine on the Emory faculty. In addition
to his private practice of General Internal Medicine, Dr. Woodson
runs Osteoporosis Center of Atlanta, a specialty clinic for the diagnosis
and treatment of osteoporosis and related bone disorders and is the
Medical Director for the Atlanta Research Center. He is the author
of a number of medical journal articles dealing with the diagnosis
and treatment of osteoporosis. |

Timothy
Watts, MD has been board certified in Internal Medicine since 1988
when he completed his post-doctoral training at Johns Hopkins Health
Systems in Baltimore, Maryland. He has since been practicing medicine
in Atlanta, initially at Georgia Baptist Medical Center where he was
also an attending in the residency program, while teaching students
from Emory University Medical Center. Dr. Watts received his undergraduate
and medical degrees from the University of Mississippi. He joined
Dr. Woodson and the other physicians of Atlanta Center for Medicine
in 1997, then rejoined Dr. Woodson in 1999 as an associate of DeKalb
Internal Medicine. |

Ms. Lewis is a graduate of Emory University
School of Medicine. Before joining our group, she worked in
Dermatology where she developed skills in the diagnosis and care
of common skin disorders.
She is board certified by the Physician Assistant National Certifying
Exam, and licensed by the Georgia State Board of Medical Examiners. Additionally,
Ms. Lewis is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants,
and the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.
Ms. Lewis provides a variety of medical services, including treatment
of acute and chronic medical problems, PAP smears, and physical
exams. She is currently accepting new adult and adolescent
patients at DeKalb Internal Medicine. Office visits are available
Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM by appointment by calling (404) 298-9951. |
